What To Expect: The park is open year-round – you see the river, estuary and railroad bridge. Beach is closed to the public from March 1 through September 30.

What To Expect: Check out the seven interpretive panels covering the history of the Gaviota Coast on display at this easy- off, easy-on turnout along southbound Hwy 101. Stretch your legs and walk across an old section of Hwy 1 that bridged Arroyo Hondo Canyon.
